Upgrading the Phone Firmware

To upgrade the T207M/NP, T208M/BL, T207M and T208M firmware, do the
following:

Download the latest firmware version from the manufacturer's web site.

Access the manufacturer's website at

Go to Partners login, type your username and password.

Click Enter. The Main Partners page is displayed.

Go to Support > Terminals and download the T20X-MGCP version.

Verify that the firmware is compatible with the phone.
All T208M phones require 16MB firmware files. Some T207M phones require
16MB firmware files. Other T207M phones require 8MB firmware files.
Contact the manufacturer's representative for details.

Upload the firmware file to the TFTP server. For firmware versions 4.44 and
higher, upload the boot code into the same TFTP directory as the firmware.
If the firmware and the boot code are not uploaded into the same TFTP
directory, the phone will not function after upgrade.

Connect to the TFTP server and verify that the server is working.

Verify that the phone is active. The phone does not need to be registered.
6 Click OK for at least three seconds on the keyset; the Setup menu is displayed.
