Problem
The Self IP address
defined in the T207M/NP,
T208M/BL, T207M and
T208M is invalid.
There is no Subnet Mask
configured in the phone.
The Default Router IP
address and Self IP
Address are both defined
as the same address.
Each should have a
separate address.
There is no response from
the DHCP Server.
There is no response from
the DNS Server.
The DHCP Server
returned an invalid IP
address.
There is no Domain Name
configured in the phone.
There is no DNS Server
defined in the phone.
Solution
Request a valid IP address from
the system administrator and enter
it into the Self IP field on the
T207M/NP, T208M/BL, T207M and
T208M:
[SysDef] > IP Params > Static >
Self IP Adr
Enter the subnet mask into the Net
Mask field on the T207M/NP,
T208M/BL, T207M and T208M:
[SysDef] > IP Params > Static >
Net Mask
Redefine the valid Self IP and
Default Router Addresses on the
T207M/NP, T208M/BL, T207M and
T208M, ensuring the IP addresses
are different.
Ensure the DHCP Server is active
on the network and all cables are
connected.
Ensure the DNS Server is active on
the network and all cables are
connected.
Inform the system administrator that
the Default Router address
configured in the DHCP Server is
invalid.
Enter the Domain Name into the
relevant field on the T207M/NP,
T208M/BL, T207M and T208M:
[SysDef] > IP Params > Static >
Domain Name
or
Leave the Domain Name field
empty and ensure that the Domain
Name is defined in the DHCP
Server
Enter the DNS Server IP Address
into the relevant field on the
