You can connect your phone to a wireless network. The wireless network is more convenient and cost-effective than wired network.
Using the Touch Screen Idle Screen The T58V smart media phone supports multiple idle screens. You can swipe left or right to switch among different idle screens. The IP phone supports three idle screens by default. You can add a new idle screen by moving an application or widget to the right side of the third idle screen.

Customizing Your Phone Customizing Your Phone You can customize your T58V smart media phone by personally configuring certain settings, for example, wallpaper, time & date and ring tones. You can add contacts to the phone’s local directory manually or from call history. You can also personalize different ring tones for different callers.

The touch screen displays the current used wallpaper in the background, built-in wallpapers and the recently used wallpapers list on the bottom of the touch screen. You can connect up to three types of headsets at once. The IP phone will use the headset by the priority: USB/Bluetooth headset>YHS32/YHS33 headset.

Unpairing the Bluetooth Headset You can unpair your Bluetooth headset and your phone. When you unpair the Bluetooth headset, it disappears from the PAIRED DEVICES list.

Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Phone Tadiran T58V smart media phone supports the use of your IP phone in conjunction with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone. Pairing and Connecting the Bluetooth-Enabled Mobile Phone You can only connect one Bluetooth device at a time. After connection, the IP phone will automatically find an available line key and assign the line key for Mobile Account.

Tap OK to enable the mobile contacts sync feature and the IP phone will sync the mobile contacts temporarily, or tap Cancel to disable mobile contacts sync feature and the IP phone will not sync the mobile contacts.

Customizing Your Phone The Bluetooth icon will display on the status bar. And the IP phone automatically assigns a Mobile Account key. Before you configure the Mobile Account key, make sure the Bluetooth-Enabled mobile phone is connected. Otherwise the IP phone will prompt “Mobile Account is not connected!”. If the distance between mobile phone and IP phone is more than 10 meters or the Bluetooth mode on the mobile phone is deactivated, you can tap the Mobile Account key to reconnect the last paired Bluetooth-Enabled mobile phone.

Sending Files via Bluetooth The Gallery and FileManager applications support sending files via Bluetooth. For more information, refer to the documentation from the Bluetooth device manufacturer. The IP phone will play a notification sound, and the touch screen prompts “Accept incoming file?”.
DSS Keys There are two types of DSS keys: Line Keys and Programable Keys. Details will be introduced in the following. The T58V smart media phone supports 27 line keys and 3 programable keys. Line Keys You can assign predefined functionalities to line keys. You can also define a label for a line key feature which will appear on the touch screen.

User Guide for T58V Basic Phone Features The T58V smart media phone is designed to be easily used like a regular phone on a public switched telephone network (PSTN). You can place calls, answer calls, transfer a call to someone else, or conduct a conference call.
Basic Phone Features Placing Calls You can place a call in one of three ways using your T58V smart media phone: Using the handset Using the speakerphone Using the headset You can also dial the number first, and then choose the way you want to speak to the other party.

IP Phone User Guide for T58V In the figure below, the audio-only call to “Jerry” (the phone number: 1039) has lasted 7 seconds. To place a call using the handset: Pick up the handset. Enter the desired number using the keypad or the dial pad on the touch screen.

The T58V smart media phone can handle multiple calls at a time. However, only one active call (the call that has audio associated with it) can be in progress at any time. The T58V smart media phone can handle a maximum of 50 calls at one time.

Note If multiple accounts are registered on the phone, you can first tap the desired line key on the idle screen or tap the desired line from the status bar in dialing screen, and then you can use the selected account to place a call.
Basic Phone Features Answering When in Another Call If you have an active call, and an incoming call arrives on the phone. The incoming call information is displayed on the touch screen. Do one of the following: Tap the Answer soft key. Tap the incoming call avatar.

Basic Phone Features Redialing Numbers To redial the last dialed number from your phone: Press twice. A call to your last dialed number is attempted. To redial a previously dialed number from your phone: Press when the phone is idle. Tap the desired entry from the placed calls list.

Basic Phone Features The phone will prompt a dialog box as the following picture shows: Tap Transfer to complete the transfer. (The call will automatically dial out in about 5 seconds if you do not tap Transfer.) , and then tap Local Directory. Search for the contact and tap the desired contact to complete the transfer.

Basic Phone Features Semi-Attended Transfer Before performing a semi-attended transfer (except you use dial number method), make sure that the transfer mode via Dsskey is configured as New Call or Attended Transfer. To perform a semi-attended transfer: Press or tap the Transfer soft key during a call. Do one of the following: Enter the number you want to transfer the call to.
If you are using a handset, the transfer can be completed by hanging up the handset. Conference You can use the T58V smart media phone to create a conference using the phone’s local conference and network conference. During a conference, you can manage each participant.
