DAILY CHECKS

3. Open the plates on the bottom of the main frame.
(1) Plates
4. Discharge mud on the main frame to the hole.
5. Return the hydraulic hoses at rear frame as
illustrated bellow.
(1) Hydraulic hose (service port)
(2) Hydraulic hose (arm cylinder
rod (RH))
(3) Hydraulic hose (arm cylinder
bottom (LH))
NOTE :
• Make sure that the hydraulic hoses do not
appear above the bumper surface.
DAILY CHECKS
For your own safety and to assure the long life of your
machine, carry out a careful check before each
operation.
1. Daily check items before starting
the machine
In order to avoid damage, it is important to check the
condition of the machine before starting.
WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
SSV65,SSV75
(4) Hydraulic hose (bucket rod)
(5) Hydraulic hose (bucket bot-
tom)
(6) Clamp (cord band)
• Perform the maintenance work on the machine
only on level ground with the engine off and the
armrest in the raised position.
Checks
• Go around the machine and check for visual
damage and wear.
• Check the coolant level.
(See Checking the coolant level on page 81)
• Check the fuel level.
• Check the engine oil level.
• Check the hydraulic fluid level.
• Check the air cleaner warning indicator.
• Check all control lamps, indicators, and the hour
meter.
• Check the seat belt and the ROPS and FOPS
safety device.
• Check the diesel-particulate-filter (DPF) muffler.
• Check the condition of the safety labels.

2. Checking the coolant level

WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• Place the machine on a firm, flat, and level
surface, lower the lift arms slowly to the
ground, and stop the engine.
• Do not open the radiator cap right after the
engine has been stopped. Serious burns can
occur from contact with escaping hot coolant
fluid.
• Check the coolant level in the recovery tank
only after the engine has cooled down.
• Remove the radiator cap only if absolutely
necessary.
