Apply Smoothing to Remove Noise
Agilent 86038A Optical Dispersion Analyzer, Third Edition
Refer to "Smooth" on page 118
1 Make the group delay trace the active trace.
2 From the Display menu, press Smooth. From the Smoothing setup panel,
a Select Enable Smoothing
b Select Boxcar for the algorithm
c Adjust the Window slide bar to optimize smoothing of the GD trace
You will want to add enough smoothing to remove the noise from the trace
but not too much as to distort the response shape of the filter.
