Operations Affecting Normalization
Below is a table of operations affecting the ODA normalization state. The
indications of "none", "
significant source of measurement error, for the operation being changed
are only a rough guide. In particular, when using preset, the assumption is
that other items on the list are not being changed, or will be set back to the
state used for normalization. Similarly, when changing number of ports, it
is assumed the change is to a configuration with a valid normalization.
Accesses the Begin Length setup panel and starts the specialized group
delay measurement of a fiber-optic cable.

Performs an auto bias on the modulator in the test set. A mod bias is also
performed each time Phase Dynamic Accuracy is run during a
