4 Connect the normalization fiber from the test set Optical Output to Port 1.
5 From the Measurement menu, press Begin Norm. From the Normalization
Viewer,
a select Port 1 as the Active Port
b select Normalize
The normalization will take approximately 8 minutes. The majority of this
time is used for the phase dynamic accuracy correction.
While normalization is running, data is plotted to the Normalization Viewer
graphs. The completed normalization is shown below.
6 When the normalization is complete, select Close on the Normalization Viewer.
7 Insert the filter into the normalized test path.
