devices like a length of fiber. For devices that have more features to the
response, the statistics for the deviation from the first measurement are
also calculated. This shows you at a glance how stable the device was
after the first measurement. This information is also stored at the end of
the run in the ODA_stats file.
Just below the Statistics are is the Status area. The blue bar is used to
show the timer between ODA measurements:
During the measurement itself, the blue bar is full and the Status area
reflects what the ODA is doing:
To Install The Software
7 Install the .NET Framework from Microsoft. Refer to "Install the Remote Client"
on page 133.
8 Install the remote programming application from the ODA documentation CD
located at:
C:\Program Files\Agilent\Agilent ODA Remote
Control\Examples\Example4_RepeatMeas\Application\
And run OdaRepeatMeas.exe
The Underlying Code
There are three main functional blocks in the code:
• Triggering measurements and setting up the delay between measurements
• Processing the measured data into statistics and writing data to the file
• Updating the ODA status
