9 When the normalization is complete, select Close on the Normalization Viewer.

Begin Meas. The Loss trace should be very close to 0 dB and the group
delay variation should be small.
10 Insert the filter into the normalized test path.
It is best practice to include the normalized fiber in the path with the test
device, as its small dispersion contribution was captured in the
normalization data.
