Toolbar Functions
Function Reference
Full Zoom
Reduces both the x axis and the y axis on the active graph. Therefore, the
zoomed-in area expands to fill the entire graph.
To zoom in on a portion of the trace, click the toolbar's Full Zoom icon.
Next, click and drag to draw a rectangle on the desired portion of the trace.
If you make an error while zooming in, click the Auto Scale icon to restore
full view.
Horizontal Zoom
Reduces the wavelength span on the active graph. Therefore, the zoomed-
in wavelength area expands to fill the entire display.
To zoom in on a portion of the trace, click the toolbar's Horizontal Zoom
icon. Next, click and drag to draw a rectangle on the desired wavelength
portion of the trace. If you make an error while zooming in, click the Auto
Scale icon to restore full view.
Once you are viewing the minimum possible span, attempting to zoom
further will attempt to center the viewable range on the center of the area
dragged on with the mouse, but the span will remain the same.
Vertical Zoom
Reduces the y axis span on the active graph. Therefore, the zoomed-in area
expands to fill the entire graph.
To zoom in on a portion of the trace, click the toolbar's Vertical Zoom icon.
Next, click and drag to draw a rectangle on the desired vertical portion of
the trace. If you make an error while zooming in, click the Auto Scale icon
to restore full view.
Pan
Moves the entire trace on the active graph with the motion of the mouse
pointer. Click the Pan icon and then click on the graph. This function is
useful when you zoom in on a portion of the trace, and need to quickly
view another portion.
