8.12.4 Timer Operation
The DisplayDock timer can be set to Count-Up or Count-Down, and be triggered either automatically or
manually.
The Count-Up or Count-Down mode is selected from the GUI by clicking on the + and - signs (which are visible
when the timer is big):
Count-Up Timer
·
Click on the + sign (it turns blue) to use the timer in count-up mode.
·
Click on the - sign (it turns red) to change the timer to count-down mode.
The triggering method is selected from the Central Module using the AUTO key: AUTO (on) = automatic timer
mode; AUTO (off) = manual timer mode.
For the operation, there are actually three possibilities (indicated by the timer label):
·
"Mics up" or "Mics Down" = the timer is set to AUTO mode and to count only when a MIC fader is open
(applies to all ten MIC sources).
·
"Faders up" or "Faders down" = the timer is set to AUTO mode and to count when any fader is open.
·
"Timer up" or "Timer down" = the timer is set to manual mode.
