7. System Setup
7.1.1 Connecting an Extender Module
If you are adding an extender module to the surface, then the CAN bus must be daisy-chained.
In this instance:
1. Connect the Power Core CAN port to the extender module CAN IN.
2. Then connect the extender module CAN OUT to the CAN IN on the main surface.
3. Fit the CAN bus terminator (supplied with the system) to the CAN OUT on the main surface.
4. Remember to connect power to both the main surface and extender module (using the PSU's provided).
The CAN bus must be terminated and so it is important to connect the full chain. Please do not attempt to
operate the system with only an extender module connected!
