6.2.4 Dimensions and Weight

6.2.5 Temperature and Cooling
Power Core is equipped with temperature-controlled fans for minimum noise emission. Ventilation holes are
provided on the left and right. There must be sufficient airflow around the device for cooling.
DO NOT obstruct the side ventilation holes as to do so will prevent efficient cooling.
The current temperature of the device's internal components can be checked on the front panel display. The
recommended tolerances can be found in the
temperature of the FPGA chip must NOT exceed 85° C.
6.2.6 Fitting the IO Cards
Power Core is delivered with a STUDIO IO card in slot 1, a MIC/LINE card in slot 2 and metal cover plates fitted
to slots 3 to 8. Slots 3 to 8 can be fitted with LINE IN, LINE OUT or AES3 IO cards (as described earlier). To
use these cards, they must be installed into the frame.
