Monitoring & Talkback
ruby standard configuration supports four stereo monitoring outputs:
·
MON CR - for the control room speakers.
·
MON HP - for the DJ headphones.
·
MON STUDIO - for the studio speakers.
·
MON GUEST - for the guest headphones.
For MON CR and MON HP, the monitor sources are identical, and so the only real differences between these
sections are the dedicated MUTE and DIM buttons (on the surface) for the MON CR output; the split
headphones and advanced options available for the MON HP; and the automatic dimming of the MON CR output
by an active redlight.
Similarly, the only differences between MON STUDIO and MON GUEST are the automatic dimming of the MON
STUDIO output by an active redlight.
If PFL (or CUE) buttons are active, the PFL bus is switched automatically to the MON CR and MON HP outputs.
