■Setting the saving period before trigger
When specifying a timeout as a condition for satisfying a file saving trigger, set the saving period before trigger so that the
following conditions are satisfied:
• Device and label values before timeout detection starts can be sampled sufficiently.
• The saving period before trigger must be longer than the timeout time.
By sampling recording target data before timeout detection, the cause of timeout can be analyzed.
The following shows the timeout time and the saving period before trigger.

Saving a recording file
■If saving a file fails
If saving a file fails due to a cause such as an insufficient free space on an SD memory card or a file server, an error occurs.
If saving device and label data fails, video data is not saved either. If saving only video data fails, data other than the failed
video data is saved.
In addition, the following processing is performed according to the recording method.
• "File Saving Trigger Only" is selected for the recording method: Data that failed to be saved is discarded, and data
sampling, reception, and accumulation continue.
• "Recording Startup Trigger + File Saving Trigger" is selected for the recording method: Data that failed to be saved is
discarded, and data accumulation stops until the next recording startup trigger is satisfied.
It is recommended to check the free space on an SD memory card or a file server before satisfying the condition for a file
saving trigger.
■When switching a CPU module from RUN to STOP or if a CPU stop error occurs in a CPU
module during file saving
The processing continues until the file saving is completed.
When changing a recording setting and switching a CPU module from STOP to RUN before file saving is completed, the
changed setting becomes enabled after the file saving is completed.
Whether the file saving is completed can be checked in 'Recording files saving completion' (Un\G1508, Un\G1708, Un\G1908,
