Receiving a co-recording trigger
When a co-recording trigger sent from a CPU module is received, a file saving trigger is satisfied.
When configuring multiple modules, a co-recording trigger is received in the main module.
A sub module operates accordingly when a co-recording trigger is received in the main module and a file saving trigger is
satisfied.
■Condition for receiving a trigger
A co-recording trigger is received when setting the co-recording setting to "Use" in the module parameter.
When a co-recording trigger is received while the recording function is not running for any of the recording settings
ignored.
When it is received while the recording function is running for any of the recording settings
For the operation after a file saving trigger is satisfied, refer to the following:
Page 16 Recording Function
*1 The operating status of the recording function can be checked in 'In recording operation' (Un\G1501, Un\G1701, Un\G1901, Un\G2101).
• After starting a module, it starts receiving a co-recording trigger. (It is ready to receive.)
• If a co-recording trigger sent from a module is received in the module itself, it is ignored.
■Number of received or ignored triggers
The number of received or received but ignored co-recording triggers can be checked in the following:
• Number of received co-recording triggers: 'Received co-recording trigger total count' (Un\G14202)
• Number of ignored co-recording triggers received: 'Received co-recording trigger discard count' (Un\G14203)
Event when co-recording runs
Events are registered in a recorder module when a co-recording trigger is sent and received.
For details on the events, refer to the following:

Considerations
The following shows the considerations for the co-recording function.
■Operation when starting a module
When setting the co-recording setting to "Use" in the module parameter, the firmware version
when starting the module.
If the firmware version does not support co-recording, an error occurs.
After that, when starting the recording function, it starts running but co-recording does not run. (No co-recording triggers are
sent or received.)
*1 For the firmware versions of a CPU module supporting the co-recording function, refer to the following:
MELSEC iQ-R System Recorder Co-recording Function Reference Manual
■When configuring multiple modules
If the co-recording setting is set to "Use" in the module parameter and the versions of some sub modules do not support the
co-recording function, the recording function starts only on sub modules with versions supporting the co-recording function.
*1 When starting a module, the recording function stops running on sub modules with versions not supporting the function and an error
(error code: 1818H) occurs in the main module.
■When saving a file in multiple recording settings at the same time
When using the co-recording function, even if a file saving trigger is satisfied in a recording setting of a module and a co-
recording trigger is sent, a file is not saved in other recording settings.
To save a file in multiple recording settings at the same time, set the same condition for satisfying a file saving trigger in each
recording setting.
