Installing the Polycom Touch Control

This section describes how to install either the Polycom Touch Control (part
number 2200-20070-001) or the Crestron Touch Panel.
• If the site has a Polycom Touch Control, refer to the following section.
• If the site has a Crestron Touch Panel, refer to the
Touch Panel section on page 3-15.
• If the site has an ATX SDK with a vendor-provided control module, skip
this section and install the control module according to the documentation
provided with that control module.
To install the Polycom Touch Control:
Connect one end of the power supply cable that is shipped with the

Polycom Touch Control to a Power Distribution Unit or other source of
power.
Connect the other end of the power supply cable to the power adapter

cable that is shipped with the Polycom Touch Control.
Connect one end of the power adapter cable to the Primary codec.

Connect the other end of the power adapter cable to the Ethernet cable

that is shipped with the Polycom Touch Control.
Run the Ethernet cable to the table, and then run it through the oblong

hole in the stand that is shipped with the Polycom Touch Control.
Connect the Ethernet cable to the back of the Polycom Touch Control.

Attach the stand to the back of the Polycom Touch Control.

Place the Polycom Touch Control near the center of the table.

Be sure to leave enough slack on the Polycom Touch Control side of the
Ethernet cable so that the users can easily move the Polycom Touch
Control to a comfortable position on the table.
