Installing the Remaining Electronic
Components
Installing the Codecs and the System Controller
Polycom, Inc.
Now that you have installed the displays, table, cameras, and chairs, you can
install the remaining electronic components, which may include:
•
Polycom HDX codecs and, if needed, HDX 2U rack mounting trays
•
System Controller, C2ENET-1 Ethernet interface expansion card (may not
be needed for ATX SDK version 3.0.3), and mounting ears for the System
Controller
•
Speakers and, if needed, speaker mounts
•
Three Polycom Ceiling Microphone Arrays
•
Polycom Touch Control or Crestron Touch Panel
•
The TPS-IMPC interface module, which is typically used with the wired
Crestron Touch Panel (may not be needed for ATX SDK version 3.0.3)
•
Cables for all the components (Refer to the Polycom ATX 200/300/400
System Wiring Specification (part number 3823-30099-002) for more
information.)
The integrator is responsible for determining where to place the Polycom
codecs and the System Controller. In most cases, the codecs and the System
Controller will be installed in a rack. If so, perform the following steps. Note
that this is optional if you are using the ATX SDK.
