Configuring HDX Passwords

Polycom, Inc.
• Configure the H.323 gatekeeper, SIP server, and global directory
(Chapter 6)
• Manage Favorites (for sites with a Polycom Touch Control) or manage the
local directory (for sites with a Crestron Touch Panel) (Chapter 7)
• Manage TIP, user-initiated multipoint conferences, and DBA (Chapter 8)
If you are using ATX SDK version
Polycom Immersive Telepresence (ITP) Administrator's Guide (part number
3725-26945-005) may not be available depending upon your system configuration.
You can restrict access to the codecs by configuring HDX passwords.
Creating HDX Passwords
To create HDX passwords:
Log into the Polycom HDX web UI.

Go to Admin Settings > General Settings > Security.

Select the Use Room Password for Remote Access check box.

Select the Admin ID > Change Password > Room check box.

Password fields will appear.
Enter a new password in both password fields. Alternatively, you can

leave the fields blank to erase the current password.
