NOTES ABOUT MEMORY
• When you attempt to scan a large sized original at a high resolution and high quality grayscale, a larger
amount of memory and hard disk space will be required than listed above. If you run out of sufficient
memory under these circumstances, an error will occur in your application. In this case, lower the
scanning resolution and grayscale quality and try to scan again.
• A minimum of 74.2 MB of memory will be required when you select "B/W" or "B/W (halftone)" under the
[Sample Depth] field and attempt to scan a 34" x 44" original at a resolution of 600 dpi. If you select
"Grayscale (STD)" or "Grayscale (HQ)" under that field, even more memory will be required.
