[Draft Mode] setting: Select the [Draft Mode] setting and use the drop-down menu below it to turn it "ON"
when you want to print in the draft mode (toner-saving mode).
[Whole] setting: Select the [Whole] setting and use the drop-down menu below it to turn it "ON" when you
want to increase the printing area of the paper and add a margin space to the leading and trailing
edge of the paper.
NOTE
If you turn the [Whole] setting "ON", the length of the printed paper will be increased by the total
length of the margin spaces selected.
[Media] setting: Selection of the desired paper type is possible from among "Plain", "Vellum", "Film",
"Custom" and "Printer Default".
NOTES
• Be sure to turn the [Paper working] setting "ON" in your copier. For more information, refer to the
Operation Guide for the copier.
• If you have designated a location for paper feed in the [Page source] field under the [Paper] Tab,
the setting made here will not be used and paper will be fed from the designated location
regardless of the paper type loaded in that drawer.
[Option Cassette 1] setting: Select the [Option Cassette 1] setting and use the drop-down menu below it to
change the setting to "Installed" when Drawer 1 (the optional roll unit) is installed in the copier-printer.
