[Edit] button: Select an unregistered destination number and then click on this button when you want to
register a new destination. The [Destination Configuration] dialog box will open. If you select a
destination number that already contains destination information, when you click on this button that
information will be displayed and can be edited.
[Clear] button: Click on this button when you want to delete the selected destination.
[List All] button: Click on this button when you want to list all destinations. Use this button when you want to
use the print function of your Internet Web browser to print out a list of the registered destinations.
Scanner Configuration settings
It is possible to set the default settings for scanning under PCScan.
NOTES
• Anytime you change the current default settings, be sure to click on the [Enter] button to register those
changes.
• The available image transmission sizes and other available setting items will depend upon the settings
made for the resolution and file format. For more information, refer to "5-5 Scanning Functions
Combination Charts" on page 2-40.
[Image Quality] field: Select between "Standard" and "Text/Line".
[Resolution] field: Select between "2400 dpi", "1200 dpi", "600 dpi", "400 dpi", "300 dpi" and "200 dpi".
[File Type] field: Select between "TIFF (Monochrome)", "TIFF (Monochrome [Halftone])", "JPEG
(Grayscale [STD])" and "JPEG (Grayscale [HQ])".
[Default File Name] field: You can register characters that you want to use in each file name. (Up to 16
characters can be registered.)
