5 Perform whatever settings are required.
6 Click on [Scan].
* If you are unable to connect to the copier-scanner, make sure that it is operating and that it is not
being used for another operation like copying.
7 When the copier-scanner is in a "scan ready" state, "Ready to scan." will appear in the copier-
scanner's message display.
8 Set the document that you want to scan. Scanning will begin automatically.
9 Once scanning of the document is complete, the corresponding data will be automatically transmitted
to your computer.
