[Enable Tandem Print Function] checkbox: Put a check mark in this checkbox when you want to select the
Tandem Print Function and simultaneously print out using two copier-printers (the KM-4850w, KM-
P4850w or KM-P4849w models) that are connected together. if you select this option, be sure to
select 2 copier-printers in the [Output Destination] area.
EXAMPLE: When printing two sets of a 3-page document...
If the [Sort] copying option is selected:
1st copier-printer...Page 1, page 2, page 3
2nd copier-printer...Page 1, page 2, page 3
If the [Group] copying option is selected:
1st copier-printer...Page 1, page 1, page 3, page 3
2nd copier-printer...Page 2, page 2
[Original Size] field: Select the size of the document to be scanned. Selection is possible between "Original
Size", "Standard Size" (Refer to "
"Custom".

Inch specifications: 8.5" x 11", 11" x 17", 17" x 22", 22" x 34", 34" x 44", 9" x 12", 12" x 18", 18" x 24"
and 24" x 36"
Metric specifications: A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, B3 and B4
[Custom Size...] button: First select "Custom" in the [Original Size] field and then click on this button when
you want to register a custom size of paper. The [Custom Size Setup] dialog box will open.
[Scaling] field: Displays the selected magnification ratio. Selection is possible to any 1% increment
between 25% and 400%.
NOTE
Whenever you change the magnification ratio, be sure to select "Original Size" in the [Original Size]
field.
