Step 7. Set a breakpoint

To set a breakpoint on line 22 in sample.c:
Cursor-select line 22 (that is, move the mouse pointer over line 22

and click the left mouse button).

Choose the Breakpoint→Set at Cursor (ALT, B, S) command.
Notice that line 22 is marked with "BP" which indicates a breakpoint has been
set on the line.
Note
This can be done more quickly by using the pop-up menu available with the
right mouse button.
