When the emulator is operating in-circuit, the BUSW pin selects the data bus
width.

To specify the target memory access size

Choose the Settings→Emulator Config→Hardware... (ALT, S, E, H)
command.
Select either the 8 bits or 16 bits option for the Target Memory

Access Size.
Choose the OK button to exit the Emulator Config dialog box.

You can only specify the target memory access size when the 16 bit data bus
width is selected.
All target system memory accesses occur in the specified size.
To select internal or external cycle termination for
CS0-3

Choose the Settings→Emulator Config→Hardware... (ALT, S, E, H)
command.
Select either the Internal or External option for chip selects CS0,

CS1, CS2, and/or CS3.
Choose the OK button to exit the Emulator Config dialog box.

If internal is selected, an active level on /CS[0-3] causes the processor
/DTACK to be driven to the target system. The emulator does not drive
/DTACK to the processor.
