Fill the device with heat transfer liquid

LAUDA is not liable for damages resulting from the use of unsuitable heat
transfer liquids.
Do not mix different heat transfer liquids together!
Use a funnel if required to fill the device with heat transfer liquid.
The filling of a device with a pressure pump (mandatory in IN 2560 XTW) is
described in Ä "Filling with a pressure pump" on page 74.
The filling of devices with pressure overlay is described in Ä "Filling with heat
transfer liquid" on page 137.

Select a heat transfer liquid with a temperature range suit-

able for the application.
WARNING!
Overheating of the heat transfer liquid
Fire
The heat transfer liquid used in the device must be set in

the menu of the device.
WARNING!
Risk of heat transfer liquid overheating due to incorrect entry of
overtemperature switch-off point Tmax
Fire
Set the overtemperature switch-off point to 5 K above the

upper limit of the temperature range for your application.
The overtemperature switch-off point must be below the
flash point of the heat transfer liquid.

Splashing heat transfer liquid
Eye damage
Always wear suitable safety glasses when working on the

device.
