Remove the straps that secure the accessory box to the pallet and set it aside.

Inspect the entire robot for damage before proceeding. If any damage is evident, contact your
local OMRON representative.

Remove the 4 M8 X 50 screws that fasten the robot to the pallet.
The robot's center of mass can cause the robot to fall over if the robot is not
properly secured with the mounting bolts.
Do not reuse the screws to mount the robot. They are not sufficient grade.

Lift the robot and relocate it to the mounting surface.

Fasten the robot to the mounting surface using the 3-2-2 Mounting Procedure on page 3-5.
When the robot is fastened to the mounting surface, the unpacking procedure is complete.
After the robot is fastened to the mounting surface, the stretch wrap and quill foam padding can
be removed.
