Description
This command sends ICMP ECHO_REQUEST packets to a host on the network. (For IPv6
only)
Input mode
SP user mode and SP administrator mode
Syntax

Parameters

Specifies the destination IPv6 address.
count
INT
Sends packets for the number of times specified for INT, and then finishes the
processing. The specifiable values are from 1 to 900000.
When this parameter is omitted:
The command sends packets four times.
maxhop
Sets the value specified for
distributed. The specifiable values are from 1 to 255.
When this parameter is omitted:
The command sets the maximum number of hops to which data is distributed to 64.

Specifies the source IPv6 address.
datasize
Specifies how many bytes of data are to be sent. The specifiable values are from 64
to 65468.
When this parameter is omitted:
This command sets the number of bytes to 64.
