Error messages
Error messages are shown on the display when an error is generated by the
product or subsequent electronics. Common errors are listed in the table below.

The printer cover is open.
The battery which
preserves your settings
and data needs to be
replaced. Please contact
your dealer for a replace-
ment.
The printer job is incor-
rect.
Printing was canceled.
The printer is busy.
The printer is offline.
The printer context is
incorrect.
The attached printer is
not supported.
A printer error has
occurred. Please try
again.
The wrong tray is select-
ed for the printer.
An error has occurred
while communicating
with the printer.
Unable to locate a valid
printer.
The printer is out of
paper. Please load and
then press OK to contin-
ue.

Corrective action
Change the display
settings.
Close the printer cover.
Back up the settings,
then contact a HEIDEN-
HAIN service agency for
battery replacement.
Restart the product.
