Assigning hot keys

The Hot Keys menu is used to map frequently used functions to keys and
switches. Hot keys can save time by eliminating the need to navigate through
menus to initiate a function or by making a function more accessible through a foot
switch or remote keypad.
Keys and switches available for hot key mapping:
Wide keys
Unit keys

Remote keypad keys
Remote foot switch switches
Unit keys can only be used as Hot Keys in DRO mode.

The foot switch and remote keypad are optional accessories that are purchased

separately.
Hot Keys menu configuration options:
Key or switch type selection
Specific key or switch for hot key assignment
Function to assign to the key or switch
To assign a Hot Key function to a switch or key:
Highlight the Hot keys menu
Highlight the Keys parameter
Press a soft key to select the desired key type or switch type
Keys options:
- keys located on the product
Unit
Remote
Foot - switches located on the foot switch
- wide keys
Wide
Highlight a specific key or switch
Press a soft key to select a function type to assign
Funtion options:
None
Key
Special
Highlight the specific function
