4.8 HF Troubleshooting
Digital display output
Description
 Outdoor unit main PCB EEPROM error.
 M‐Thermal Split stops running.
 Error code is displayed on outdoor unit main PCB and user interface.
Possible causes
 Outdoor unit main PCB EEPROM is not connected properly.
 Outdoor unit main PCB damaged.
Procedure
Outdoor unit EEPROM
Replace outdoor unit main PCB
Notes:
1. Outdoor unit EEPROM is designated IC23 on the outdoor unit main PCB (labeled 29 in Figure 4‐2.2 in Part4, 2.3 "Main PCBs for Refrigerant System, Inverter
Module").
