Replacing an I/O Module

The I/O module is hot-swappable and therefore removal or replacement may
be done while the power supply is on.

Removing an I/O Module

Perform the following steps:
1.
Grasp the module latch between the thumb and forefinger and squeeze
them together to release the latch (1).
2.
Pull the latch out to release the module from the enclosure (2).
3.
Grip the latch handles and remove the module.
The I/O module is successfully removed.

Overheating damage
An incorrect airflow can damage components.
Do not remove this module unless a replacement can
be immediately added. The system must not be oper-
ated without all modules in place.
