Installing a Drive Carrier
Perform the following steps:
1.
If the relevant drawer is not already open, open it using the instructions
in chapter "Opening a Drawer" on page 112.
2.
Lower the drive carrier into the slot, with the drive capacity label facing
towards you (1).
3.
Push the drive carrier downwards and hold it down while sliding the drive
carrier plate in the direction. This locks the drive in place (2).
4.
Check that the release latch has returned to its locked position.
5.
Close the drawer using the instructions in chapter "Closing a Drawer" on
page 113.

Failed drives must be replaced with approved drives. Contact your
storage vendor for details.
