Dummy Carrier Removal/Replacement
Dummy drive carrier modules are removed and replaced in the enclosure
simply by pulling the module out of the enclosure or pushing it into place.
Replacing a Power Supply Unit
Removing a Power Supply Unit
The power supplies in the 2U enclosure include cooling fans as well as
supplying power to the system. The power supplies are bi-directional; you
can insert a power supply into either the left or right slot.
Perform the following steps:
1.
Open the strain relief and unplug the power cord.
2.
Press the black release latch towards the center of the module.
3.
Open the silver latch, which disengages the power supply module from
the engine.
The power supply unit is successfully removed.
