Change the port type to Ethernet by using the following command:
mlxconfig -d /dev/mst/mt4119_pciconf0 set
LINK_TYPE_P1=2 LINK_TYPE_P2=2
mlxconfig -d /dev/mst/mt4119_pciconf0 set
LINK_TYPE_P1=2

Type in y to apply the Ethernet mode.
Now you can proceed with the network settings.
Mellanox Network Card Configuration
If you are unfamiliar with these settings, contact your system administrator.
Perform the following steps:
1.
Open the "Mellanox ConnectX-5 VPI Adapter Properties".
2.
Disable "IPv6" in the Ethernet properties.
3.
Set a static IPv4 network address that is in the address area of your
GPFS cluster.
