Replacing a Cooling Module

Removing a Cooling Module
Perform the following steps:
1.
Identify the cooling module to be removed. If the module has failed, the
fan fault LED will be lit amber.

Overheating damage
An incorrect airflow can damage components.
The drawers must be populated with drives in whole
rows at a time (there are 3 rows of 14 drives per
drawer). The minimum number of drives in an enclosure
is 14, the number of rows must not differ by more than
1 between top and bottom drawers and the rows should
be populated from the front to the rear of the enclosure.
Before removing a module, make sure you have a replacement
module to insert.
