Connecting to Networks
Perform the following steps:
1. Optionally connect your local network to the 1 Gbit and/or 10 Gbit
Ethernet connectors (see chapter "AP-LS I/O Module" on page 28).
2. Connect your storage backbone switch to the 100 Gbit Ethernet
connector with a 100 GbE QSFP cable.
SpycerNode is ready for first use.The SpycerNode hardware is now properly
installed and you can switch on the system to perform the initial setup.

Make sure that the network topology supports jumbo frames. For
more information see chapter "R&S Network Switch Configuration"
on page 54.
„Flow Control Mode" should be disabled in the network switch ter-
minal.
