Replacing a Power Cooling Module

The power cooling module is hot-swappable.
Removing a Power Cooling Module
Perform the following steps:
1.
Ensure that you identify the faulty power cooling module correctly.

Switch off and disconnect the power supply cord.

In the power supply components be located
directly on the mains voltage. Even after discon-
nection touching can be fatal.
Do not remove covers from the power cooling
module. Return the module to your supplier
for repair.
Overheating damage
Operation of the enclosure with any modules missing will
disrupt the airflow and the drives will not receive sufficient
cooling.
It is essential that all apertures are filled before oper-
ating the enclosure system.
System Damage
Prior to removing the power cooling module, disconnect the
power from the power cooling module, by either the mains
switch (where present) or by physically removing the power
source in order to ensure that your system has warning of
an imminent power shutdown.
A faulty power cooling module must be replaced by a
fully operational power cooling module within 24 hours.
