Operation
Optical systems feature a large depth of field at small zoom values. In the
case of a large depth of field, the focusing system must travel a large
range until the image is in focus. The XY-coupling must then be adjusted
within a large range until the required position is achieved. This will take
some time. A high adjusting speed is therefore beneficial.
On the other hand, optical systems feature a low depth of field if the zoom
values are high. Focusing must then be exactly positioned in a small
range to permit the image to be in focus. The XY-coupling must then be
precisely adjusted within a small range to enable the required position to
be achieved. A small adjusting speed is beneficial in this case.
Select the adjusting speed for the focus in accordance with your require-
ments.
Saving parameter settings
As soon as you have entered a parameter setting, it is saved under the
current user ID.
Caution:
Be extremely careful when changing these settings. You should change
settings only under your own user ID. Notify all users of any changes, or
make sure that each user only works under his own user ID.
Path: To return to the basic mode, press the "MODE" key in the speed
mode or do not press any key for 20 seconds.
To switch to configuration mode 1, simultaneously press the
"MODE" and "STORE" keys.
