OPMI
PRO magis: setting the brightness as required
This function permits you to set the brightness.
Path: The basic mode is automatically displayed after the instrument has
been switched on.
For the OPMI PRO magis, the suspension system can be equipped with
a halogen illuminator or a xenon illuminator, as required.
In the basic mode, the currently set brightness of the illumination is shown
in the upper display field.
The middle display field remains empty and the relevant keys "∇" and "Δ"
have no function.
If the suspension system is equipped with a second halogen lamp
housing, the currently set brightness of the second lamp is displayed in
the middle display field.
Setting the brightness of the lamp
Use the "∇" and "Δ" keys to adjust the brightness of the lamp.
Brightness is adjustable in a range from 1 to 10 in steps of 0.5.
The last brightness setting for the lamp is automatically stored under the
current user ID.
Saving parameter settings
As soon as you have entered a parameter setting, it is saved under the
current user ID.

PRO magis: setting the adjustment speeds
You can select the adjustment speeds for the following functions of the
surgical microscope:
– Focusing
– Zoom function
– Adjustment of X-Y coupling
Path: The basic mode is automatically displayed after the instrument has
been switched on.
Press the "MODE" key to access the speed mode.
Making the settings
The speed mode is the user interface which allows you to set the speed
of the microscope functions.
The keys "∇" and "Δ" allow you to to change the setting step by step.
Each of the three default speeds can be set between the minimum of 1
and the maximum of 10 in steps of 0.5.
