Chapter 6 Event and Alarm

This part introduces configuring events. The device takes certain response to a triggered alarm.
6.1.

Set Motion Detection

This helps to detect moving objects in the detection region and trigger the linkage actions.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → Event → Basic Event → Motion Detection.
2. Select the channel no.
3. Check Enable Motion Detection.
4. Optional: Highlight to display a moving object in the image in green.
1) Check Enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion.
2) Go to Configuration → Local.
3) Set Rules to Enable.
5. Select Configuration Mode, and set rule region and rule parameters.

6. Set the arming schedule and linkage methods. For information about arming schedule settings, see

7. Click Save.
Normal Mode
You can set motion detection parameters according to the device default parameters.
Steps
1. Select normal mode in Configuration.
2. Set the sensitivity of normal mode. The higher the sensitivity value, the more sensitive the motion
detection. If the sensitivity is set to 0, motion detection and dynamic analysis do not take effect.
3. Click Draw Area. Click and drag the mouse on the live video, then release the mouse to finish drawing
one area.
