Tracking Duration: Set the duration of tracking. If the value is selected as 0, the tracking duration
will not be limited.
•
Limited Tracking: You can set the limited position for the tracking.
2. Click Save.
3. Go to Configuration → VCA → Advanced Configuration, and set the parameter.

Post-tracking: Set the duration of automatic tracking of the target after it stops.
4. Go to Configuration → VCA → Zooming Ratio and configure the parameters. The optical camera will track
the target when the VCA rule is triggered, which is configured on the thermal camera.
1) Set the appropriate tracking zooming ratio with the PTZ control panel.
2) Click Save.
5. Click Save.
Set Rules
The device can detect whether any target breaks the VCA rules. The optical camera will track the target or
the device will alarm when the VCA rule is triggered.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → VCA → Rule.
to add a new rule.

3. Enter the rule name, and click the drop-down menu to select Rule Type.
NOTE:
Each scene can be configured with different rule types. Up to eight rules can be set for one
scene.
• Line Crossing: If a target moves across the setting line, the alarm will trigger. You can set the
crossing direction.
•
Intrusion: If a target intrudes into the pre-defined region longer than the set duration, the alarm will
trigger.
•
Region Entrance: If a target enters the pre-defined region, the alarm will trigger.
•
Region Exiting: If a target exits the pre-defined region, the alarm will trigger.
4. Set parameters of the rule.
•
Sensitivity: The higher the value, the easier the alarm can be triggered.
•
Detection Target: You are recommended to select the target as Human & Vehicle. In distant view,
the device cannot classify the target with fewer than 10*10 pixels. The target will be recognized as
human directly. So the selection of this item will not trigger a false or missing alarm.
