• The installation should be at the highest position within the detection area. The lens should not be
covered during movement to detect the maximum area.
• It is better to choose an installation location with convenient traffic, well-equipped power, and
Internet facilities. E.g. communication tower, watchtower, high-rise roof, and so on.

Set the Presets

Set the presets according to the steps below to improve the fire detection accuracy.
Steps
1. If the presets are located in different areas, you can set six presets in two areas as the example shows
below.
2. Divide the scan area into three parts, and set a preset every 120°. The black numbers are presets, and
the red numbers are scan areas.
3. Set the presets according to the patrol path sequence: 1->2->3->1->4->5->6->4.
NOTE: When setting the presets, adjust the zoom ratio to view boththe optical channel and the
thermal channel images clearly.
The recommended zoom ratio of optical channel and patrol speed shows in the table
below.
