Right-clicking on the graph produces a pop-up menu, on which you can
select the Auto Range Graph Axes menu option. This option restores the
graph to its original unzoomed state.

Poll Rates

When the Detailed Graph dialog box is displayed for any monitor on a
particular device or link 3Com Network Director increases the poll rate for
the active monitors of that device or link to every 10 seconds in order to
provide you with more detailed graphs.The poll rate for the active
monitors of the device or link revert to their configured settings when you
close the Detailed Graph dialog box.
If you close the Detailed Graph dialog box for a device or link and still
have the Live Graphs window up for that device or link, or vice versa,
then 3Com Network Director will continue to use the 10 second polling
rate for all of the active monitors for that device or link.
Configuration
The following section describes how to configure the monitoring system
so that it provides the data that you require in managing your network.
Starting and
Before 3Com Network Director can generate events for devices in your
Stopping Monitoring
network you must first start monitoring on those devices.This can be
performed automatically from the Network Discovery Wizard.

for more information.However, you may wish to modify the set of
monitored devices and links to focus only on specific items in your
network, you may wish to exclude specific sections of the network from
monitoring, or you may wish to reduce the amount of network traffic
generated by 3Com Network Director' active monitors.
To start monitoring on a set of devices and links, select the items that you
want to start monitoring and select either Monitoring > Start Monitoring
from the main menu or Start Monitoring from the right-click menu.If your
selection includes a subnet or device group then 3Com Network Director
will recursively start monitoring on all core devices and links in that group
that are not visible at a higher level in the map.
3Com Network Director will automatically start monitoring for an
unmonitored device or link if you launch the Live Graphs window for it.
