Key Concepts

This section describes the key concepts of the map and the tree within
3Com Network Director.

The Map

The map is displayed on the right-hand side of the 3Com Network
Director main window. It presents a graphical representation of your
network topology for the devices discovered on the network.
Figure 52 The Map
The graphical representation consists of icons that represent devices,
subnets and other network components. The lines drawn between those
icons represent connections between the components.
