1 Spannvorrichtung auf Flucht mit Gurtverlauf
bringen, ggf. unterlegen.
2 Gurtenden parallel auflegen und ein
Schmirgelleinenstück (Körnung nach unten)
auf die Gurte legen.
3 Gurtenden ca. 100 mm herausragen las-
sen.
4 Gurtenden fest einklemmmen.
5 An Schnellspanner von Hand spannen, bis
der Gurt gestrafft ist.
6 Durch Drehen an der Gewindespindel mit
Schlüssel (SW 10) Gurt soweit spannen
bis die ausgeschärften Gurtenden überein-
anderlappen.
7 Beide ausgeschärften Flächen müssen
exakt übereinander gebracht werden, damit
die Gurtdicke über die Klebestelle hinweg
konstant bleibt!
1 Position the tensioning device so that it
is aligned with the direction in which the
belt runs, and prop up from underneath if
necessary.
2 Position the ends of the belt parallel to
each other and lay a piece of emery paper
(with the abrasive side down) on the belts.
3 Let the belt ends project by about 100 mm.
4 Clamp the belt ends securely.
5 Tension by hand with the quick-clamping
device until the belt is taut.
6 Turn the threaded spindle with wrench (SW
10) until the belt is so taut that the beveled
belt ends overlap.
7 The two beveled ends must be positioned
exactly one on top of the other so that the
belt thickness at the bonding point remains
uniform with the rest of the belt!

1 Aligner le dispositif de tension sur la
courroie, le cas échéant mettre quelque
chose en dessous du dispositif de
tension.
2 Placer les extrémités de la courroie
parallèlement l'une à l'autre et placer un
morceau de toîle émeri (la face rugueuse
vers le bas) sur les courroies.
3 Laisser dépasser les extrémités de la
courroie d'environ 100 mm.
4 Bien serrer les extrémités de la courroie.
5 Tendre la courroie à la main sur le tendeur
rapide jusqu'à ce que celle-ci soit bien
tendue.
6 Tourner la broche filetée avec la clé
(SW 10) pour tendre la courroie jusqu'à
ce que les extrémités biseautées de la
courroie se chevauchent.
7 Les deux surfaces biseautés doivent être
exactement superposées l'une sur l'autre
de manière à ce que l'épaisseur de la
courroie reste constante.
