Starting the Barcode
Area Definition Software

Click [Start] - [All Apps] - [RISO] -
[Barcode Area Definition Software].
For Windows 8.1, open the "Apps" screen and
select [RISO] - [Barcode Area Definition Software].

Main Screen

Menu bar
A
The menu bar consists of the [File], [Edit], [View],
[Tools] and [More] menus. Each menu includes an
edit function and setting items.
Tool Bar
B
Various tools are displayed.
Thumbnail
C
A thumbnail of the print image is displayed.
Image/barcode area display
D
The print image is displayed.
Status Bar
E
The position (coordinates), magnification, page
number and other details are displayed.

Operations

To edit the barcode area, select the print image
area and use the functions in the tool bar or menu
bar. When the same icon appears in both the tool
bar and the menu bar, you can click either one to
perform the same operation.
Menu bar
File
Open Image Opens a selected print file, and
File display its image.
Open CSV
Opens a selected CSV file.
File
Recreate CSV Deletes the barcode area that is
File displayed.
Saves the CSV file that you are
Save
currently using.
Saves the currently open file
Save As
under a new file name.
You can specify the page size of
Page Settings
a barcode creation area.
Edit
Cancels the edit and returns the
Undo
setting to its original state.
Reapplies the previously
Redo
canceled edit. The 10 most
recent edits can be redone.
Copies the selected barcode
Copy
area.
Pastes the copied barcode area
Paste
to another area.
Deletes the selected barcode
Delete
area.
You can specify the same
barcode area repeatedly. You
Repetition
can specify a cycle of 1 to 999
pages.
View
Move Moves to the first, previous, next,
/ / / or last page.
Moves to the specified page.
Input the desired page number in
the text box, and press the
Go to
[Enter] key.
(This is only displayed in the tool
bar.)
