[Larger Page]
[Long Edge], [Short Edge]
[Smaller Page]
[Long Edge], [Short Edge]
[Rotate Larger Page 180 Degrees]
Select the [Rotate Larger Page 180 Degrees]
check box to rotate the larger pages 180 degrees.

[Larger Page] means A3, B4 (Ledger, Legal),

and Tabloid; [Smaller Page] means other
sizes.
•
Some applications do not allow you to rotate
the larger pages to the desired orientation. In
this case, select the check box to rotate the
print orientation 180 degrees.
Zoom
^
^
Specify the enlarge/reduce ratio of the original.
Select the [Zoom] check box and enter the
enlarge/reduce ratio in the range of 50% to 200%.
If you do not select [Zoom], the enlarge/reduce
ratio is automatically selected based on the
[Original Size] and [Paper Size] settings.
Paper Size

Specify the size of paper for printing.

When printing on envelopes, it is
^
^
recommended that you connect the optional
stacking tray and envelope feeder.
•
The list shows the sizes registered in [Custom
Paper Entry] in the [Environment] tab. (p.122
"Custom Paper Entry")
Specifying a Custom Paper Size
When the paper is a non-standard size, select
[Custom].

Select [Custom] for [Paper Size].
The [Custom] dialog box is displayed.

Enter the size of the paper.

Click [OK].

The size entered here is only valid when

configuring the document size.
Registering frequently-used paper sizes can
be useful. (p.122 "Custom Paper Entry")
Paper Tray
^
^
Specify the input tray to use for printing.
[Auto]
The paper tray is selected automatically according
to the [Paper Type] and [Paper Size] settings.
[Feed Tray 1], [Feed Tray 2], [Additional Tray]
The paper loaded in the specified tray is used for
printing.
[Standard Tray]
The paper loaded in the standard tray is used for
printing.

If [Auto] is selected, but the actual paper

^
loaded in the tray does not match the [Paper
Size] and [Paper Type] settings (or the same
paper is loaded but the tray selection setting is
not set to [Auto Selection]), an error occurs
and the job is not printed. Select [Any] in
[Paper Type]. (p.106 "Paper Type")

You can use the RISO Console to confirm the
paper size and paper type loaded in the printer
paper tray. See "[Consumables] Screen"
(p.149) in "RISO Console".

[Additional Tray] is displayed when the
optional additional tray is connected.
Paper Type

Select the type of printing paper.
You can print the document data with adjustments,
such as coloration and amount of ink, and image
processing that suit the selected paper type.
[Any]
Select this option to enable automatic selection of
paper type according to printer settings.
[Plain]
[Plain (premium)]
[IJ Paper], [Matt Coated]
Select one of these when using IJ paper or similar
paper.
