Power Connection

Observe the following precautions.
 Connect the plug securely to the electrical
outlet to avoid a loose connection. You may
have two or more power plugs if you have
options connected.
 Install the machine near an electrical outlet.
 When the scanner is connected to the printer
using the USB cable, the scanner is turned
on and off by the power of the main unit.
